MSA started with the proven Advantage 200 Respirator, but made the facepiece from a new clear blue formulation of the thermoplastic rubber used for the Advantage 200 Respirator. The result is a better-looking, Lighter, and Softer half face respirator that exceeds all previous levels of comfort.

Extensive anthropometric research led to the Advantage Respirators unique design. MSA's engineers examined facial form data of over 8,000 people and, with CAD technology, developed the AnthroCurve(TM) Sealing Surface.
