Miller 6 Foot Wire Rope Lanyard with SofStop Shock Absorber is designed to reduce the fall-arresting force

In an actual fall, maximum protection must be given to the worker by arresting the fall as safely and comfortablty as possible. Each SofStop pack contains an inner core of shock-absorbing material designed to expand a maximum of three-and-a-half feet, allowing a soft, stable stop during a fall. For additional protection, each pack contains a back-up safety strap for added strength. SofStop can be used as a stand alone unit, or built into lanyards, harnesses, and body belts. SofStop unit consists of a 9/32" diameter uncoated steel cable six foot lanyard. Meets OSHA and ANSI requirements.
